Las Cruces woman, 19, named person of interest in Alamogordo teen’s death
DONA ANA COUNTY, N.M. (CBS4) —
A Las Cruces woman is identified as a person of interest in the death of an Alamogordo teen whose body was found in Mesilla last week.
Dakota Lunceford, 18, was last seen alive in Alamogordo on July 28, and his remains were found in Mesilla.
During his last phone conversation with his mom, he said he had traveled to Las Cruces, authorities said.
Authorities said Bryanna Terry, 19, was in contact with Lunceford before Aug. 3, which is the day his body was found off Glass Road.
Authorities said detectives initially made contact with Terry, but she has since become uncooperative.
Terry could be driving a gray 1986 Ford pickup truck. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call the Dona Ana County Sheriff’s Office at 575-525-8814 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
