One hospitalized after incident at northeast apartment complex

Officers were investigating an incident Tuesday morning at an apartment complex in northeast El Paso.

The incident was reported around 6 a.m. at the Raintree Village Apartments at 9550 Dyer St.

Emergency scanner traffic indicated that one person might have suffered a gunshot wound, but that information wasn’t confirmed by officers at the scene.

Emergency dispatchers said one person was taken to a hospital, but the extent of his or her injuries is not known.

Red tape was visible around the apartment complex, but officers removed it within two hours.
