Fort Bliss encourages military and spouses to attend Job fair
EL PASO, Texas —
Military vets and spouses seeking employment are in luck.
Tuesday, there will be an event that will help them find a career path.
Last year saw almost half a million unemployed veterans in 2016.
Recruitmilitary is hoping to make that number smaller.
According to Military.com, some employers are concerned that veterans don't completely fit into corporate culture.
Recruitmilitary will help military veterans and their spouses find a good fit in a career path to make the transition easier.
The organization reports an anticipated 52 percent of veterans seeking jobs would secure an interview just for showing up.
The event will take place in Fort Bliss at the Centennial Banquet Center on East Churchill Street from 11 a.m to 3 p.m.
