New report: Airline customer satisfaction improving
It looks like more passengers are satisfied with airline travel.
According to a new report from the Department of Transportation, airline complaints are down by 12 percent this year.
That includes complaints about things like delays, cancellations, and customer service.
Some categories did see an increase-- more customers felt discriminated against because of their race, religion, nationality or a disability.
So what are the most criticized airlines? American Airlines and United.
They averaged more than 2.4 complaints for every 100,000 thousand passengers.
And the least? Express Jet and Southwest Airlines.
They had less than one complaint for every 200,000 customers.
