Authorities: Man conspired with pregnant woman to sexually abuse unborn child
YUKON, Okla. (KOKH) —
A Yukon man has been arrested after authorities say he planned with a pregnant mother to sexually abuse a newborn baby.
The Canadian County Sheriff's Office reports that Daniel Thomas Deffner, 39, was arrested June 9.
The investigation began after Midwest City Police Department detectives contacted Canadian County June 8 regarding Deffner's activities on Facebook. Midwest City police had obtained a conversation between Deffner and a pregnant woman where the two allegedly discussed raping and molesting the woman's unborn child. The mother allegedly agreed to let Deffner perform the acts on the child.
Canadian County investigators then learned that Deffner had reportedly manipulated an 11-year-old girl to send him nude photos of herself and had set up an encounter with the girl.
A search warrant was performed on his home and investigators state they found images of the young girl and other child pornography on electronic devices.
Deffner faces complaints of procuring a minor in child pornography, possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The woman's children have been taken into protective custody. Charges are expected to be presented against her by the Midwest City Police Department.
