New Jersey mom abandons young son with special needs in woods
New Jersey mom Debra Wisler is accused of abandoning her son with special needs, 10, in the woods near a military base.
After her child was discovered by a passing motorist, military police brought him to the base's welcome center.
The officers fed him and asked him questions, at which point the boy revealed that his mom had brought him to the woods and told him to take a nap.
When he woke up, she was gone.
Police found the mother at her home in Millville, arrested her and charged her with endangering the child's welfare.
Wisler has yet to give a statement to the press.
