Obama said U.S. is hitting ISIS harder than ever

President Obama said the U.S. military is hitting Isis harder than ever but it continues to be a difficult fight.

The president spoke from the Pentagon Monday and said that what is being done to fight ISIS right now may not calm Americans fears, but says more people are seeing ISIS for "the thugs and thieves" that they are.

"We are hitting ISIL harder than ever. Coalition aircraft, our fighters, bombers, and drones have been increasing the pace of airstrikes, nearly 9,000 as of today. Last month, in November, we dropped more bombs on ISIL targets than any other month since the campaign started," Obama said.

President Obama also said new strikes on the terror group's oil infrastructure will do serious damage to their lifeline.
