Pebble Hills lighting project will cause lane closures
EL PASO, Texas —
The construction of the Pebble Hills arterial lighting project begins Monday.
Anyone who commutes near Pebble Hills high school should expect lane closures for some time.
Pebble Hills boulevard will be receiving $1.5 million worth of updates.
This is the City of El Paso's Capital Improvement Department's project.
This construction will affect Pebble Hills Boulevard.
That's between Joe Battle Boulevard and John Hayes Street.
Updates will include:
*Installation of new street lights from Joe Battle to John Hayes *Additional medians will be added *Trees will be planted and there will be landscaping for medians *as well as an irrigation system.
Far East El Paso is seeing a lot of changes.
Just down the road on John Hayes an 80-acre sports complex is also in the works.
This Pebble Hills arterial lighting project is expected to be complete by the end of summer 2017.
