Chihuahuas homer way to fourth-straight win

Hunter Renfroe, Rocky Gale and Ryan Schimpf each connected on a homer as the El Paso Chihuahuas defeated the Omaha Storm Chasers, 7-2, Saturday in Nebraska.

El Paso has won four straight and five of six. The surge has put the team in control of the Pacific Southern division, leading Las Vegas and Salt Lake for first place by a game-and-a-half.

The two teams return to action for the third of four in Omaha Sunday as the Chihuahuas will try to take the series from the American Northern division leaders. First pitch is scheduled for 6:05 MT.
