Revamped UTEP squad focusing on chemistry during rare summer stint
EL PASO, Texas (CBS4) -- Before the gridiron can get a chance to heat up, UTEP is wearing-out the hardwood.
"It feels weird but good," senior forward Jake Flaggert said about the August practices. "You can only do it once every four years so it's new to me, too."
The Miners started two-a-day practices over the weekend because they are tuning up for a preseason tournament in Costa Rica, August 15-20.
