EP Golden Gloves Boxing packs a punch in this week's TOW
EL PASO, Texas (CBS4) -- A more than decade long championship drought came to an end, on Saturday in Dallas Fort Worth, at the hands of EP Golden Glove fighter Victor Aranda. Aranda's 152 lb K.O. secured El Paso's first State Championship Title since 2002. It was promptly followed up with a second championship by 165 lb Jorge Tovar, who was fighting one-handed - the other was fractured in a preceding match. Altogether EPGGB sent five fighters to State, earning them our CBS 4 Sports Applebee's Team of the Week.
