Coronado High School students perform ‘Into the Woods’
The theater group at Coronado High School is performing a beloved musical.
The group is presenting Stephen Sondheim’s Into the Woods on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
The show follows iconic fairytale characters such as "Little Red Riding Hood," "Jack," and "Cinderella" as they face the real ramifications of “being careful what you wish for.”
Students from from Varsity Theatre, Choir, Dance Company, and award-winning Orchestra/Band members are performing.
The group won the “Best Musical” Cappie Award for the El Paso Area for their production of Oklahoma! in 2016, and attracted local attention and praise with their most recent production of Little Shop of Horrors.
Tickets are $10 at the door, located in the Lee Ross Capshaw Auditorium at Coronado High School.
Thursday and Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 2 p.m.
