Dinner and murder mystery make for unique local experience
Those with an itch for solving murder mysteries have an opportunity to do so in a unique experience featuring local actors.
Friday is the opening night for I-Suspect Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre.
It’s an act written and directed by El Pasoans Alex and Yvette Campos. The production is a dramedy with a mix of scripted lines and improvisation.
"We wanted to be able to showcase the talent El Paso has while also offering El Paso a different experience. We are very excited to be able to bring this to El Paso," Campos said.
Local actors will be placed within the audience and will interact with the attendees. Clues will be unveiled throughout the night by an actor playing a detective. Dinner will be provided and those who come closest to solving the crime will win a prize.
The production will run every Friday and Saturday in February, including a special Valentine’s Day show.
It takes place at The Venue Events and Ballroom at 6633 N. Mesa Street, Suite 400.
Tickets prices are as follows:
- for shows on Friday and Saturday nights: $52.50 plus tax
- for early dinner shows on Saturday: $49.99 plus tax
- for Valentine’s Day: $55 plus tax
