Families are invited to Fort Bliss’ annual Truck Town this weekend.

The event will feature more than 30 military trucks and vehicles, including military Strykers, firetrucks, a monster truck and the "Ghostbusters’" slime van.

Other activities include arts and crafts, face painting, games, balloons and a photo booth. Kids’ karaoke, jumping balloons and inflatable racetrack rides are free during the event.

Truck Town is a free event and is open to the public on Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. at Freedom Crossing at Fort Bliss.

Civilians who wish to attend can enter the post using a valid ID at the Cassidy gate between 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Any other times will require a visitor pass, which can be obtained at the Buffalo Soldier or Chaffee Gate.
