EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — The golf course at Ascarate Park will open Friday, February 5.
Commissioner’s Court voted unanimously to reopen with the recent decline in COVID-19 hospitalization and positivity rate in El Paso County.

County Parks remain closed except the use of walking paths that are adjacent to streets, parks, or within parks..
Beginning on Saturday, February 6, Ascarate Park’s toll booth will begin charging a gate fee of $2 cash per vehicle on Saturdays and Sundays.
Ascarate Park will continue to allow the use of walking/biking trails and fishing. However, the use of handball courts, basketball courts, tennis courts, and pools remain prohibited. Essential services continue to be offered via internet, email and by phone only.
