Volunteers needed for Diocese of El Paso

LAS CRUCES, N.M. (KFOX14/CBS4) — The Diocese of El Paso is in need of volunteers.

They said help is needed at El Paso's Migrant Center.

Pat Lopez, chancelor, said the center receives about 80 migrants a day.

The number of volunteers they have is dwindling, she said.

Also in need, are food, kitchen, toiletry, clothing and cleaning supplies.

After migrants arrive at the center, they receive clothes, have a chance to take a shower, get a bag of toiletries, get feed and a care package before they leave the shelter.

They will be prepping meals at home and delivering to the hospitality center.
