Police say missing boy, grandfather have been located
UPDATE: Police said the boy and his grandfather were found safe.
El Paso police are looking for a 2-year-old boy and his grandfather.
Investigators said Joe Jesse Monge was with his grandson, 2-year-old Jack Monge at the Sam’s Club on North Mesa.
Police believe Joe drove off with the boy while his wife shopped.
El Paso police said Joe suffers from PTSD, cancer, and can become confused or disoriented due to some of his medication.
Jack is described as light skinned with brown hair and brown eyes. The boy was last seen wearing gray sweatpants and a green t-shirt.
Joe is described as standing 5’11” tall, weighing around 195 lbs. He has salt and pepper hair, brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a short sleeve button down shirt, faded blue jeans, and he could be wearing a cap.
Authorities are looking for the truck they were last seen in.
