Boyfriend charged with killing girlfriend's cat after argument, police say
A 21-year-old man is accused of killing his girlfriend’s cat after an argument.
According to police, Alberto Ramirez became mad when he got home from work Saturday and found his girlfriend with another friend inside the apartment.
Ramirez’s girlfriend and the friend then left the apartment and when they returned, her cat was missing.
The couple got into an argument over the missing cat and police was called. When officers arrived, they out that Ramirez allegedly broke the cat’s neck and dumped the carcass in a dumpster.
Ramirez was charged with cruelty to non-livestock animals. He was booked on a $7,500 bond. Police said Ramirez also had various traffic outstanding warrants.
