Cleanup efforts underway in west El Paso following thunderstorm
Monday’s storms brought lots of debris to El Paso roadways, homes and businesses.
Crews have been out sweeping the roads, clearing large rocks and picking up broken branches since Tuesday morning after a severe thunderstorm swept through El Paso.
Businesses around Mesa Hills Drive in west El Paso saw rushing stormwater damage a rock wall that caused rocks to fall onto vehicles and into buildings.
The AAA self-storage was cleaning mud from the front of their businesses.
A woman who works at one of the nearby offices said she came to work Tuesday morning and there were rocks everywhere.
“I didn't hear any reports of hail damage. So far, so good. I'm glad that my car didn't get damaged,” said Kanisha Williams.
