LAS CRUCES, N.M. (CBS4) — An El Paso man pleaded guilty to trafficking almost 10 pounds of drugs.
Irving Daniel Ramirez, 25, was in a federal courtroom Monday in Las Cruces, N.M.
Ramirez admitted to having 9.7 pounds of heroin in his car when he got pulled over in Dona Ana County in August.
He told the judge he was hired to transport the drugs.
He faces a mandatory minimum of 10 years and a maximum of life in federal prison.
