El Paso Police search for robbery suspects that left a man injured

Police are searching for three people involved in a robbery that left a man injured.

Police said a man walked into the “Vapolocity” business at 7230 Gateway East on Oct. 5 and asked to see various e-cigarettes. He took them and ran out of the store where he got into a blue, four-door sedan with a male and a female.

An employee of the store followed the car on his motorcycle. The driver of the sedan appeared to intentionally swerve into the motorcycle, causing the store employee to be thrown off the motorcycle and strike his head on the pavement.

Police say, the trio were last seen turning on Otero Court, then making a U-turn and turning northbound on Roswell Road.

The robber appeared to be about 18 years old, 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing about 140 lbs. with light complexion.

The driver of the car is described to be a man about 20 years old. The female was passenger in the front of the vehicle.
