El Paso ranked among top 5 cities to go trick-or-treating
Halloween is just around the corner, and if you are planning to take the kiddos out trick-or-treating, one website says El Paso is one of the best places to do so.
According to SmartAsset, a personal finance technology company, El Paso is the fifth-best place to trick or treat, which is up from eighth place last year.
The company ranks cities based on historic Halloween weather, neighborhood density, safety, affordability and trick-or-treat age population.
SmartAsset’s concern with El Paso is the weather because the average temperature in October is 69 degrees, which could be hot for kiddos in big costumes.
Looking for things to do on Halloween? CBS4 and KFOX14 will also be holding their first ever Trick or Treat Town. The stations will be opening the doors to the public for a fun Halloween event on Oct. 31 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at 200 Alto Mesa. There will be candy, games and prizes.
