LAS CRUCES, N.M. (KFOX14/CBS4) — A Las Cruces man is being held without bond in a sexual exploitation of children case.
Officers arrested 23-year-old Ryan Gallardo.
Law enforcement officers executed a search warrant at Yamil Pillado’s residence on March 31.
They discovered a cell phone, belonging to Pillado containing several video files of young girls engaging in sexually explicit conduct.
Pillado gave a statement affirming that he obtained most of the child exploitive materials from his cousin Ryan Gallardo.

Another search warrant was executed for Gallardo’s phone found in his apartment as well as his mother’s residence in Santa Teresa, New Mexico.
Records were obtained from a search warrant for Whatsapp and the account owner identified as Ryan Gallardo.
The child exploitive material included conversations, sexual videos, and images that were exchanged by both men spanning from 2022 thru April 2023.
Yamill Pillado resides in Texas, he has been arrested and charged in Texas.
The investigation was triggered by the Internet Crimes Against Children Unit at the El Paso Police Department who were alerted by Synchronoss Technologies in reference to the Verizon Cloud Account phone number.
The Cyber tip was sent to the Las Cruces Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division.
