Man sought after stealing towels from Family Dollar by putting them in his pants
Police are looking for a man who stole towels by putting them inside his pants, and threatened to shoot an employee at a Family Dollar, according to El Paso Crime Stoppers.
Police said the man walked into the store in East El Paso located at 9612 Montana on July 20 around 2:14 p.m.
Police said the man walked around the store looking at different items. The suspect then walked into the restroom and concealed some towels in his pants.
When the suspect left the restroom, he was confronted by an employee, and then threatened to shoot the employee, according to police.
The suspect then left the store with the towels.
The suspect is described as Hispanic, about 50 years old, 5 feet, 10 inches tall, with a light complexion and medium build.
The suspect was last seen wearing a black Colorado Rockies baseball cap, a blue T-shirt with a logo with the name "Cool Conversations," blue jean shorts and dark boots with white socks.
