LAS CRUCES, N.M. (KFOX14/CBS4) — A house fire was reported in Las Cruces Wednesday night.
The fire happened on the 700 block of east Lucero Avenue around 11 p.m.
Firefighters found flames coming from a front room of the single-story home.
Crews searched the structure, determined that it was unoccupied and attacked the blaze.
Firefighters were able to keep flames from extending into adjacent areas of the home.
The fire was brought under control in 10 minutes. No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire and damage estimates are still under investigation.
