EL PASO, Texas (CBS4) — A man was killed in a motorcycle crash early Friday morning.
It happened just after 2 a.m. on 3400 Global Reach Drive near Montana.
Investigators tell CBS4 that the 1984 Harley Davidson motorcycle crashed when it hit a curb and that no other vehicles were involved in the wreck.
The driver was identified ad 37-year-old Eduardo Morales of El Paso.
Police said Morales was not wearing a helmet and suffered serious head injuries when he was eject from the motorcycle.
Global Reach was closed for about 3 hours and later reopened just before 7 a.m.
Morales died at the scene, said police.
Investigators say Morales was under the influence of alcohol and was speeding.
