Police respond to 'shots fired' in northeast El Paso

El Paso police at 3:25 p.m. said the scene of a shooting was cleared.

The investigation began around 2 p.m. in northeast El Paso.

Heavy police presence was noticeable around Dyer Street near Fred Wilson Drive.

Police spokesman Enrique Carrillo said the people involved have not been located.
