El Paso police investigators responded to a deadly crash involving a motorcycle in northeast El Paso.

The crash was reported Thursday around 9 a.m. along the 9400 block of Gateway North near Diana Drive.

Investigators said 57-year-old Mario Saenz was killed while riding a Wolf scooter.

Saenz failed to yield the right-of-way to a vehicle driven by 19-year-old Zeus Woods, of Fort Bliss.

Saenz, who lives in Anthony, New Mexico, was taken to a hospital, where he died.

The investigation revealed that Saenz became separated from his scooter and suffered serious injuries throughout his body.
