Sinkhole opens up along Acer Avenue

EL PASO, Texas (CBS4) — A neighborhood near McRae is dealing with a sinkhole Thursday afternoon.

The sinkhole opened up along Acer Avenue near Sugarberry around 9:30 a.m.

Officials with El Paso Water say a 12-inch line broke.

Crews with El Paso Water are at the scene trying to repair the damage.

Reporter Michael Ikahihifo is also at the scene.
