Soldier Con will be held this weekend at Fort Bliss.

Soldier Con is the first-ever comic convention with a car show in Fort Bliss.

At Soldier Con, there will be five different events throughout the weekend. The Eat, Sleep, Drift Car Show will be held on Saturday.

Gaming, live action role playing, a cosplay contest and the comic book convention will happen on Sunday.

Soldier Con will take place at Freedom Crossing in Fort Bliss.

In addition to the comic artists and vendors, there will be a film festival including comic book artists Free Isabelo and Rudy Vasquez.

Toy expert Johnny Jimenez Jr., of the TV series "Pawn Stars," will be the featured guest to sell toys.

The Eat, Sleep, Drift Car Show will bring in the region’s top builds and showstoppers.

Attendees will be able to view different vehicle makes and models. ;Entrance to the car show area is free.

Featured guest Noel Gugliemi, or Noel G., an American actor known for his roles in "The Fast and the Furious" and "Lowriders" will be in the comic convention area.

The cosplay contest will be conducted inside the Freedom Crossing food court, with a stage and runway.

The event is open to everyone.
