Temple Mount Sinai to host 2nd annual Jewish Food Festival

Temple Mount Sinai will be hosting its second annual Jewish Food Festival over the weekend.

The event will take place at the temple located at 4408 N. Stanton St.

Hours:

  • Saturday: 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Sunday: Noon to 6 p.m.

The two-day festival will include a variety of food, beer, wine and live music. There will be activities for kids on Sunday from Noon to 4 p.m.

"This is to show the community who we are what we are, we've been around, Temple Mount Sinai is officials 125 in the Paso Del Norte community now," David Pearlman, chairman of the Temple Mount Sinai food festival.

Entertainment for Saturday:

  • 6 p.m. Ellie Flier
  • 7 p.m. Klezmer Kings
  • 7:45 p.m. Latke Eating Contest
  • 8:00 p.m. Belly Dancers
  • 8:30 p.m. Billy Townes

Entertainment for Sunday:

  • Noon Larry Lesser
  • 1 p.m. Ellie Flyer
  • 2 p.m. Kosher Cowpokes
  • 3 p.m. Belly Dancers
  • 3:30 p.m. Julio Ortiz
