UPDATE: Las Cruces Police arrested 26-year-old Gregory Trevor Derouen in connection with the beating of a 30-year-old man outside the Q-Time nightclub on April 17.
Derouen was charged with one count each of aggravated battery causing great bodily harm and conspiracy. He is being held without bond at the Dona Ana County Detention Center.
Las Cruces Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information that helps identify the other suspects involved in this incident.
LAS CRUCES, N.M. - Police are asking for the public's help to identify suspects involved in a nightclub brawl that left one man with severe face and head injuries.
Police said that on April 17 between 1:30 a.m. to 2 a.m. a 30-year-old man was attacked by two or three men in the parking lot of Q-Time at 1201 E. Amador Ave.
The victim was airlifted to University Medical Center in El Paso at the time of the incident, and he has since undergone several surgeries and remains hospitalized, police said.
One suspect is described as a black man in his late 20s with dreadlocks. Another suspect is described as Hispanic in his late 20s with a dark complexion. Police believe a third suspect may have also been involved in the incident.
