A "die in" protest was held on Capitol Hill opposing the GOP health care bill Tuesday afternoon.

The demonstration occurred at the entrance of the Senate subway area of the Russell Building.

The Senate decided not to vote on a repeal of the Affordable Care Act after Republican leaders announced Tuesday they didn't have enough votes, according to the Associated Press.

Families of children with disabilities met with Virginia Senator Tim Kaine to discuss their opposition with the GOP heath care bill.

Kaine tweeted "Graham-Cassidy would've hurt countless Americans. I'll say it again: it's past time for us to work together to improve health care for all."
