Operation Hope, Pay It Forward give away nearly 1K turkeys this Thanksgiving
EL PASO, Texas (CBS4) — Operation Hope and the Pay It Forward team partnered together to give away nearly 1,000 turkeys to the community this Thanksgiving.
“We’re trying to big back some kind of normality during this COVID time, Operation Hope along with Mr. Gopin and Pay It Forward, we’re going to be having our annual Thanksgiving giveaway at the Coliseum, we’re going to have approximately 1,000 turkeys,” said Angel Gomez with Operation Hope.
“We will have enough milk for everybody, there’s going to be fresh vegetables, canned goods, eggs, bread, you will walk out with quite of bit of things,” said Gomez.
People walked out with about 35 pounds of food.
