SANTA TERESA, N.M. (KFOX14/CBS4) — Pay It Forwarded provided a check to the non-profit War Eagles Air Museum.
The museum was founded in 1989 by John and Betty McGuire, both were aviation aficionados.
Many of the planes on display were used in World War II.
"There's so much history in here," said Michael Gopin. "It's a walking history book."
Some of the planes were used as props in movie films.
"This museum is an example of museums that need to be kept open because no one is going to do it," said Mike Epp, the executive director of War Eagles Air Museum. "This is a collection of planes, vehicles and artifacts that you just can't find anywhere else."
