(CBS4) -- El Paso's third Thorne Cup Championship, their second in the last five years, probably shouldn't have happened. But it did.

The Rhinos lost their first two games of a three game round robin yet still managed to sneak their way into the finals, eventually destined to win the national championship, 3-2 over Ogden.

Nikita Pintusov skated up the middle of the ice and ripped the game winning goal through his defender's legs and past Ogden's goalie with two minutes left on the clock.

"I've never won anything before," Pintusov told CBS4's Eric O'Brien. "I can't really describe this feeling."
