Gilyard, McGee announce transfer from UTEP basketball

Miners All Access: Basketball player Evan Gilyard

The off season continues for UTEP basketball as sophomore guards Evan Gilyard and Kobe McGee announced on Twitter Tuesday that they would be transferring from UTEP.

Gilyard led the Miners in scoring this season with 13 points per game, while McGee ended his year averaging 3.5 points per game in 25 games for the Miners.

With Gilyard and MaGee both transferring, that now means UTEP meets their scholarship requirements for next season (13).

The Miners will already be filled with new faces come next season with the additions of Kaden Archie, Souley Boum, Anthony Tarke, Deon Stroud, Brandon Wenzel and Jesse Zarzuela.
