Alyssa is excited to call the Sun City her new home! Watch her each morning on CBS4 Daybreak and CBS4 at Noon.
Alyssa comes to El Paso from Charleston, West Virginia, where she worked as an anchor/reporter at WOWK-TV. Some of her most memorable stories include investigating a suboxone clinic scheme, covering deadly floods in 2016 and a yearlong series reporting on a school district’s consolidation battle.
Before living in the mountains, Alyssa started her career on the sunny beach of Gulfport, Mississippi. She worked at WXXV-TV as an anchor/reporter covering the rebuilding after Hurricane Katrina, the booming casino industry and, of course, Mardi Gras.
Alyssa grew up in central New Jersey and loves to visit family in the Garden State. She attended Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Public Communications where she majored in broadcast journalism.
When she isn’t working, you can catch Alyssa hiking, shopping or at a local yoga studio. She also loves to volunteer in her community.
