Evan O'Regan

Evan O’Regan is the meteorologist for CBS4 Mornings and CBS4 at Noon. He recently graduated from Florida State University in May 2023, with his Bachelor of Science in Meteorology and Minor in Mathematics, as well as a Certificate in Emergency Management and Homeland Security. He joined the CBS4 Mornings team shortly thereafter in June 2023.

Evan previously spent time on the student-run FSU Weather show as an On-Camera Student Meteorologist and Team Leader, giving way to a summer position at The Weather Channel headquarters as a Weather Producer Intern in 2022. He also participated as a student volunteer at the National Weather Service Forecast Office in Tallahassee, Florida.

Evan’s passion for weather has been growing ever since childhood, and he loves to try to catch lightning photos and videos whenever possible. Although he has never seen it before, his favorite weather phenomenon is thundersnow.

Originally from Glen Cove, New York, just outside of New York City, Evan is a huge sports fan, and is a diehard Yankees, Knicks, and Giants fan. He loves spending time with friends and family, and is easy to talk to, so feel free to say hello if you see him!
