Portia Baudisch is originally from Sandy Hook, Connecticut, and just graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Science degree in broadcast journalism, political science and theater arts.
At UM, she was inducted into Alpha Epsilon Rho, a journalism honor society. She was nominated for the National Broadcasting Society’s Best News Package award for her story on the red tide, a harmful algae bloom caused by agriculture runoff.
She was also the news director of WVUM 90.5 FM and is a sister of Zeta Tau Alpha.
She is so excited to be reporting in El Paso for KFOX14 and CBS4 covering the city and county beat!
