Vania Castillo

Vania Castillo is a journalist who works for CBS4 and is currently the weekday morning forecaster for the station's morning show.

She has been with the station since 2019, and has covered a variety of local news stories, including breaking news, crime, politics, and human interest stories. Castillo is a bilingual journalist who is fluent in both English and Spanish, which allows her to report on news that affects the diverse communities in the area.

Castillo is proud to be born and raised in the Sun City. She is a graduate of the University of Texas at El Paso, where she earned a degree in Broadcast Journalism and Digital Media. Castillo has also worked as a reporter for other news stations in El Paso, including CBS4’s sister station KFOX14, and KTSM.

She is known for her dedication to reporting on issues that affect the El Paso community and for her ability to connect with viewers through her reporting. Castillo is also active on social media and uses platforms like TikTok, and Instagram to engage with her audience and share news updates.
